Ive always been dissatisfied by trying to groom in aprons. They're usually bulky and too hot. Happy to report this one is not at all like that! Super comfortable while still doing the job of keeping me dry and keeping hair splinters off of me. I got loads of compliments on my first day wearing it over my Toni smock also!

I almost hated it; when I got the apron I put it on not crisscrossing the tie in the back. The shoulder straps kept falling off my arms despite the rest of the apron being tight. In my neurodivergent frustration I threw it off mid bath for the first dog I bathed. After the frustration settled I decided to retie it differently and crossed the straps on the back rather than having them weirdly cross at the side how it came in the box. I feel like I needed instructions on how to put it on properly, or if it wasn’t designed to cross in the back then I’m going against the odds and wearing it that way. Either way; I’ve gotten used to it now and it keeps me dry as well as the pockets being super handy.

I have several aprons that I never wear because they either don’t fit well, don’t perform well, or are just “almost right.” The Alex Apron, however, is perfect! I originally ordered one for myself — and now I need two more.
I sometimes forget to put on an apron and end up getting soaked, but this one is so lightweight and comfortable that I keep it on all day. Not only does it keep me dry, it stops hair from sticking to my clothes. I’ve tried multiple smocks: some make me overheat, others don’t block hair splinters. This apron lets me wear a cooler top underneath while still preventing hair from getting through — and keeps my clothes completely dry!
The fit is great (I wear a large) and it looks very professional. It also fits my male coworker who is a 3X, and it looks just as good on him.
Honestly, this is the best piece of grooming apparel I own — truly an absolute MUST-HAVE for any grooming salon. Highly, highly recommend!
It’s a tad longer than I am used too but it’s amazing! I’m just short hahaha. Not a single drop of water on me after work! No hair either it’s great!!

So cute, lightweight and soft. I like that it doesn’t hand over the neck but rather criss crosses on the back! Definitely helps with neck pain. Small things like that are definitely appreciated!
